Welcome!

As far back as I can remember, my life has involved family, good friends, and books. In my adult years, coffee, music, travel, photography, and writing have found their way in, as well.

But most importantly, my life has always involved God—at first, just a familiarity with him, having grown up in church—but later, a personal relationship with Him as my Lord and Savior. That relationship started when I was a child and has not always been perfect. I understood then that I could never enter Heaven on my own since I was a sinner, so I accepted Jesus’ offer to take his sinless perfection as my own, in exchange taking my punishment for sin as His own. At that young age, I asked Him to be my personal Lord and Savior, and it is only by this means that I have complete confidence of being accepted by God to dwell with Him for eternity. If you would like to know more about how to have such peace with God, please reach out and let me know! I would be honored to discuss this further with you.

The life of a Christian does not end with accepting Christ, however. Rather, that is just the beginning of a lifelong walk that can feel glorious and joyful some days, but difficult and discouraging, other days. Some of the most meaningful writing I have done has occurred during those times that were more of a struggle, but then God showed Himself present and able, in powerful ways. I pray that everything you read here encourages you to hope in Him for the same!
